Feudum: A nuanced game of hand & resource management

Created by Mark Swanson

The Kickstarter campaign has come to an end, however, retail editions (at full MSRP) of Feudum and the expansions may be pre-ordered right here! You may also wait until the summer when the solo variant: Feudum: The Queen's Army will launch on Kickstarter. Rumor has it, there will be some special campaign bundles. As always, shipping stacks with multiple orders, so be sure to take advantage of the all-in-one accessory and/or game bundle options. Late Retailer Backers may email Mark directly at [email protected].

Meeple Realty releases FEUDUM INSERT price!!!
over 7 years ago – Thu, Dec 15, 2016 at 11:09:58 PM

My good friends at Meeple Realty just provided an estimate for a custom Feudum insert they are working on: $35 ($40 MSRP). Pictures of this custom insert will be available in the pledge manager store AFTER the campaign, and you will be able to decide then if you wish to add this to your order.  And.......YES! it will have room for base game pieces AND the expansions! AND, it will fit nicely INSIDE the beautiful well of the game, so as to not disrupt the game's insert artwork. : )  It will weigh about 3 lb.

Even if I can't see the forrest through the CONIFER trees..... I can still see squirrels!!!! My dear backers... I am speechless. While I was sleeping, you blew past yet another stretch goal. Justin and I are utterly thrilled to be able to include this FREE mini-expansion in every game. It features six wooden conifer trees (3 tall and 3 short) that will dot the landscape of your kingdom and turn it into a topographical wonder. And of course, you will also receive 50 additional pink cubes that represent squirrels. The pink cubes replace the green cubes in the game and make Feudum more accessible to colorblind players! (These may be used with the mini-expansion rules, or simply to replace the green cubes!).  Special thanks to my friend Justin Schultz and Thomas Covert from Board Game Revolution for inspiring me to make this mini expansion. AND, THANK YOU BACKERS!!!!!!

Alea iacta est!!!!! The die is cast!!
over 7 years ago – Tue, Dec 13, 2016 at 10:07:03 PM

One Sheep is Sheep, two Sheep are Sheep... but alas.....dice are a tricky business!! Lately grammar experts are saying that modern standard English says that "dice" is both the singular and the plural.  Naturally, I have rejected this....partly out of respect to the Latin phrase attributed to Julius Caesar who said it (in Latin) as he crossed the Rubicon river (Northern Italy) to start the civil war that would bring him to power.  So there you have it.  Feudum's "progress die" has been cast.  By the way, I'm curious: which do you prefer for the singular form...Die or Dice?
